I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know you did a bang up
job on the candle. My BFF truly loves it and so do I. The detail, the
script is absolutely gorgeous!!!!
I
received your package last night when I got home – I CAN’T THANK YOU
ENOUGH!! The candles are absolutely beautiful – and beyond my
expectations! It is so incredibly kind of you to include a candle for
ME! I was so taken aback by your kindness! Honestly, we all have been
so consumed with helping my daughter and her husband, that this is the
first time that someone actually acknowledged my loss as a grandmother
(tears!).
I have
decided that I am going to give it to them on November 21st
- a little sooner than I originally planned. They will be here in
Florida that week because of a friends wedding. They go back to Ohio on
the 22nd, which will be the one year anniversary when Ayden
went into a coma. I think it will be nice if they could take it home
that day and light it in honor of Ayden.
I am
also going to order another candle from you for a woman I met who lost
her teenage son in March. I will get everything put together and get it
to in the next week, or so. I would like this candle sent directly to
her, and it will be from me and Catherine (maybe you could include a
little card from us). I don’t want to send it though, until Catherine
gets her candle because I want Catherine’s candle to be a surprise.
Maybe if we could plan on you mailing it out on the 22nd of
November, that will be perfect since it will arrive in plenty of time
for the Compassionate Friends candle lighting ceremony on December 12th.

My featherweight cakes are wonderful for shipping and outdoor weddings.
With fake cakes the bride is able to use sheet cakes, cookies, cupcakes,
chocolate dipping fountain with fruits to serve to the guests, thus saving
the per slice cost of cutting a wedding cake that many reception halls
charge, and still have beautiful wedding cake for photos, etc.
If using fresh flowers, you should protect the top of the cake in case there
is seepage from the fresh flowers, since water may stain the icing. I do
not recommend applying any sealants or coatings to the cake, as they may
seriously affect the color. My artificial wedding cakes can easily
accommodate almost any cake topper.
Fake/Artificial Styrofoam cakes are a cost-effective alternative to the
traditional wedding cake, whether purchasing or renting. They are perfect
for an outdoor wedding, as heat, humidity and small flying insects are no
problem. Your guests can then be served from sheet cakes which are more
economical. One tier of the fake cake can be replicated by your local
bakery for use in the wedding cake cutting ceremony. Fake/Artificial Styrofoam Cakes are lightweight, durable and easily
transportable making them perfect for your next bridal show, or as one of
your shops’ display items.
